Lori Sugarman:
Working as the director of a Senior Center program, Lori sought to improve her ability to help older adults deal with anxiety and chronic pain. This search led her to the Atlanta National Hypnotherapy Institute, where she graduated in 2006. Becoming a certified Hypnotherapist not only helped Lori ease the lives of the elderly. She has helped people to quit smoking, change their destructive eating habits, sleep restfully, relieve stress and anxiety, overcome powerful fears, and enhance their motivation and goal achievement.
Outside of her classes at ANHI, Lori teaches yoga training to parents of children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old, and is a certified state trainer for Bright from the Start, a program that teaches yoga movements and poses to child care center employees. She is a yet unpublished, but enthusiastic writer of two completed children’s books, and several volumes of whimsical poetry.

Bruce Alquist:
Bruce Alquist came to ANHI with a background in teaching, psychology, research and development, and invention. Although he specializes in water quality and waste water reduction systems in his corporate life, it is Bruce’s desire to share the benefits of the Kappas method with others that has brought this former student back to ANHI. He has personally witnessed the tremendously positive impact that hypnosis offers to reprogram self-destructive habits, free people from fears and addictions, and greatly improve creativity and relationship potentials.
Within a former company, Bruce created a separate division called Possibility Workshops, where he continues to develop “think tank” frameworks for releasing the hidden and blocked human potentials and creative possibilities. He also developed and operated an alternative school for troubled youth and their families, with the goal of bringing a new light of possibility to failing institutions that foster unnecessary mental anguish. He has worked with Harvard, GTE, Mobil Solar, multiple colleges, individuals and families. Bruce is currently working on a book that addresses the discovery and realization of our human possibilities, and the roadblocks that prevent us from realizing them.

Paula Fanelly
Paula is a personal enhancement coach for 25 years, Paula decided to open The Center FoMotivationAnd Self Improvement in November of 2000 and after graduating from ANHI. She residesand practices in Forsyth County. She is active in community services and legislative issues concerning the rights to practice alternative health care in the state of Georgia. Serving Forsyth, Fulton, Gwinett, Dawson, Hall, and Cheroke counties respectively, as well as clients from around the country. Paula graduated from University of Akron, AA., Marketing BS. Technical Education and is a Master's Clinical Hypnotherapy (C.Ht) graduated from Atlanta National Hynotherapy Institute. Additionally she is a Certified Handwriting Expert,Certified Integrated Energy Therapy(tm) and a good standing member of the following Associatins: National Guild of Hypnotists, National Federation of Hypnotists, The Behavioral Health Association of Forsyth, National Handwriting Analysts Foundation, Cumming/Forsyth Chamber of Commerce, Cumming Kiwanis - 2006/07 President and board member, Women In Networking -past president and board member.
